# Eligibility
We generally provide refunds in the following situations:
- Forgotten cancellations - if you were charged after forgetting to cancel, provided there has been little or no usage since the payment.
- Accidental purchases - if a payment was made unintentionally, provided there has been little or no usage since the payment.
- Where required by law - if applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction entitle you to a refund.
# Timeframe
- Refund requests must be submitted within 3 months of the payment date, in line with standard chargeback timeframes.
- Requests submitted sooner after the payment are more likely to be approved.
# Discretion
All refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny a refund depending on the circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Excessive or repeated refund requests
- Requests made after significant usage of the service
- Requests made after an unreasonable delay since the payment
# Chargebacks
- If you believe a charge is incorrect, we encourage you to contact us first before initiating a chargeback with your bank.
- We can typically review and resolve refund requests much faster than the chargeback process. A chargeback can take several weeks or longer, and may not be decided in your favor if insufficient information is provided.
- By contacting us directly, we're able to consider additional context and details, allowing us to make a more informed and fair decision.
- Initiating a chargeback may delay resolution and can limit our ability to assist you directly.
